"There are 12 months..."

"I don't need to have the plan in hand, I don't need to have the end in sight, All I need to do is follow you, wherever you lead and do what you ask me to.

Trusting you, Lord, with all my heart, following you all my days; whether I can or can't understand, I'll acknowledge you in all my ways.

Though I am pressed on every side I am not in despair. My faith in you will carry me through though I may not see where You're leading me. "

-The Plan, Steve Green

Today was my first opportunity to substitute teach at a local English school.  It was everything I hoped it would be and more.  The eagerness of the Japanese children to learn my native language is so inspiring and humbling!  All of these children are coming to this English class after a full school day.  I was tired but a couple of kids were seriously starting to glaze over by my later class... I asked if they would all stand up... Then I took them through the 'hokey pokey' moves without actually singing the hokey pokey. It was fun! They were laughing to each other in Japanese, probably saying "What is this crazy gaijin making us do now?!".  After that, everyone perked up and we all had fun for the rest of the night!

It has been such a blessing to just show up at Yokota and have a job essentially waiting for me here... You can't take that literally but I do believe that God has us right where He wants us.  It's such a beautiful thing.

So there you have it for now! Much love!
